I had to buy another carpet cleaner and just took it out of the box today. So I got right at part of the carpet I had started before my other machine died. I can’t do a whole room at once because there is nowhere to put everything. Remember, I have lived here since March 1977, and this carpet has never been cleaned! Wow! I started on another carpet, this one really stained and spotted as it is the walkway from the kitchen through the dining room to the living room, so gets an awful lot of traffic as well as spills. It has been partially cleaned a few times, but you would never have known it. It’s a carpet I brought from my other apartment and cut down to fit, so it’s been well used. I’ll let you know how it looks when it is thoroughly dry, but I thought you would like to know what happened.
