I love pitbulls, I’ve owned 3, and I hate what people think of them because of what the media wants to sell. If there is a story that says that a German Shepherd bit someone, it’s not going to sell and they might even never mention the dog’s breed, but if you get a story that says that a Pitbull bit someone, it’s a headliner.
It’s true that you can be attacked by a pitbull, but it’s the same with any other breed. I support laws that punish those who abuse animals, participate and profit from dog fights and I wish the authorities would be more aggressive to eradicate this problem. But I also think that it’s unfair to discriminate, ban and even euthanize dogs just because they were born “the wrong breed”.
Like the saying goes “Punish the Deed, NOT the Breed”
But the next video is the perfect example of the nature of a pitbull, when it’s not exposed to abuse or dog fights. They can kiss you to death! I know mine have done that to me and my family.
